Your tasks and reminders, by text message

What it does

Personal SMS Assistant is a task and reminder application you use by text message. You text the assistant's number in plain language — for example “Add a task to send Alex the deck by Thursday” or “What do I need to do this week?” — and the application replies with a confirmation, a summary of your tasks, or the reminder you asked for.

Messages you will receive

• Replies to your own texts: task confirmations, task lists, and answers to questions about your tasks.
• Reminders you set up yourself, at the time you asked for.
• Account messages: an opt-in confirmation, HELP replies, and an opt-out confirmation.

No marketing or promotional messages are sent. Message frequency varies with how often you text the assistant and how many reminders you set. Message and data rates may apply.

Sign up

Access is limited to a small number of invited users. Submitting this form sends a sign-up request to the operator by email; SMS is only turned on for your number if you check the optional consent box below.

You can submit this form without checking the SMS box; you will then be contacted by email only, and no text messages will be sent to you. If you do opt in, you will immediately receive a confirmation text: “Personal SMS Assistant: You're signed up for task and reminder texts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

Help and opting out

• Text HELP to the assistant's number at any time for help, or email cameronsm7@gmail.com.
• Text STOP to the assistant's number at any time to stop all messages. You will receive one final confirmation and no further texts.
